With the idea of assessing the quality of ice and drinking water, Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Public Health Office organized an activity to collect samples across the province.
They collected samples of both ice and water from all manufacturers that volunteered to be part of the project, and sent those samples away to be assessed for microbial quality at The Medical Science Centre 5 in Samut Songkhran.
The results of the survey revealed that 94 of the providers tested passed the required standard for human consumption. The public health department of Hua Hin Municipality therefore would like to publicise the results to consumers to enable them to feel more confident about where they can purchase clean water.
